Classroom Plus is always seeking new volunteers for classroom presentations and tours. You decide the topic, level of commitment, and area in which you’d like to focus your volunteer efforts. Your primary audience will be high school students in business, economics, and career education courses. Occasionally we work with elementary and middle schools students.

After you sign up as a volunteer, the Classroom Plus staff will contact you when a teacher request matches your skills and area of knowledge. You may accept the opportunity or decline if it doesn’t fit your schedule.

Ways to volunteer with Classroom Plus

• Classroom Presenter: Share your area of expertise with students, 1+ hour. Work directly with teachers and students by giving classroom presentations about your career or areas of knowledge.
• Tour Guide: Share your workplace with a group of students, 1 hour. Tours are a great way for students to learn more about companies and careers.
• Career Fairs at Schools: Inform students about what you do in your position and career, 1-6 hours. Career fairs typically occur at the end of the school year.

Interested individuals can register online to volunteer or call the Classroom Plus staff directly. Members of the business community are encouraged to volunteer in this program.
