To recognize the achievements of the student teams, BestPrep awards the top three teams in each Portfolio Equity Competition division with prizes at a ceremony and luncheon in their honor. Each team, along with their advisor, is invited to attend the awards luncheon and ceremony. Team members receive a T-shirt and signed certificate, and one plaque to be put on display at the school.

Often times BestPrep provides additional prizes thanks to our sponsors. For the past seven years, BestPrep has taken the fall's first place high school team on a two day all expense paid trip to a Chicago. High School students earning this prize have included Madelia, Esko, Wayzata, Benilde-St. Margaret’s, Forest Lake, Minneota, Owatonna, Wheaton and Stillwater.

The Minnesota Twins provide a VIP tour of the Metrodome and free tickets for the spring's first place team in each division. The students are able to go on the field prior to the game and are honored with a Winners’ Certificate from the Twins, while having their names broadcast on the JumboTron.

Some teachers choose to reward the top team in their class with awards. BestPrep’s T-shirts can be purchases for this purpose. T-shirts cost $10.
