As a 501(c)3 organization, BestPrep welcomes tax deductible cash as well as in-kind donations. Your donation helps BestPrep to advance our mission - providing all Minnesota students with the knowledge and skills necessary to be best prepared to face the economic challenges of the future. Eighty-five percent of every dollar is allocated directly to the programs.

Securities Contributions

Gifts of stocks can be donated to BestPrep through our broker Stifel Nicolaus (DTC # 793), and by contacting John Schulte 763-398-0090 ext. 224 for specific directions.

United Way

Funds can be designated to BestPrep through United Way. Please check with your Employer's United Way Coordinator to direct funds through Donor Choice options. Many times you will only need our name and address to direct funds to us through United Way.

It is advised to contact BestPrep once your donation has been designated in order to ensure receipt of those funds. If funds are designated as "anonymous," BestPrep will not be able to acknowledge your gift.

In-Kind Contributions

Each year BestPrep is able to reduce foundation expenses because of in-kind contributions. Our in -kind needs include:

• printing program brochures, newsletters and invitations
• copying program materials
• hosting conference room facilities for teacher workshops and training sessions

Your generosity in providing these services allows us to allocate more funds directly to the programs. These contributions help attract students and teachers to the programs, provide potential contributors with important information about BestPrep, and inform constituents about program accomplishments.
