Financial Matters Initiative

NOW IS THE TIME to ensure that students of today develop sound money management skills.  BestPrep has partnered with the Foundation for Financial Planning and the Financial Planning Association of Minnesota to create Financial Matters Initiative (FMI) and educate Minnesota students on the importance of managing money wisely.

Four interactive PowerPoint presentations have been created (Money Matters, Budgeting Matters, Credit Matters and Investing Matters) and are ready for use by volunteers from the financial services to present in classrooms.  These presentations have been developed and tested with input from financial planners and teachers.  

TEACHERS - Help prepare your students for their financial future by requesting to have a volunteer from the financial services industry present in your class through our Classroom Plus program.

VOLUNTEERS - you can help make a difference for the future generation of students by volunteering to use these presentations in Minnesota classrooms through BestPrep's Classroom Plus program. These presentations are complete with PowerPoint slides, handouts, speaker's notes and suggestions on how to engage students.
