BestPrep offers five dynamic programs that provide all
Minnesota students with the knowledge and skills necessary to be best
prepared to face the economic challenges of the future.
Classroom Plus
- Flagship program which is a free service to teachers offering volunteer
speakers and tours to supplement classroom curriculum. 114,000 students
reached annually.
Minnesota Business
Venture -Weeklong residential summer business and financial
literacy camps for high school students conducted in partnership with
St. Cloud State University, St. John's University, and the Minnesota
Bankers Association. Three hundred students participate annually.
The Stock Market Game™-A
14-week web-based simulation played in the fall and spring to help students
understand the American economic system. Annually, more 12,000 students
and 200 teachers representing 150 cities and towns throughout Minnesota
get involved in The Stock Market Game.
eMentors
- Connecting students with volunteer professionals through email. Students
develop professional writing skills and learn about the relationship between
classroom learning and future career skills. More than 1300 students and
mentors are paired annually.
Technology Integration Workshop
- The Technology Integration Workshop provides educators with the skills
necessary for effectively incorporating technology into their curriculums.
Teachers work with Business Partners to understand current workplace trends.
Technology Specialists help teachers create a technology infused lesson
plan. These lessons are available on the T-CELL.
