Financial Matters - Teachers

Financial Matters works to provide real-life lessons on financial literacy.  The program connects classrooms with guest speakers, focusing on topics ranging from budgeting to buying a car.  To request a financial literacy presentation for your classroom:

*Please allow at least a four week notice for all requests.

  1. Review and complete BestPrep's Teacher Expectation Document.
  2. Review the Commonly Requested Topics list to use as a guide in topic selection,
  3. Complete the request form         
         Upon receiving your request, we will contact you.  Once we have made contact with 
             you, we will schedule a speaker and send you a confirmation email with the
         volunteer's information.
  4. Contact your volunteer prior to the engagement to discuss details and any questions or concerns they may have.
  5. Complete the Financial Matters online survey after the engagement.
